About Inclusive Clay

My name is Kristin Bispels, and I am a ceramic artist residing in Pottstown, PA. I am also the mother to an adult daughter with intellectual disabilities. I have founded Inclusive Clay as the evolution of a group I call "Pottery Friends" who have met weekly in our basement studio to create with clay. This group was created initially as a response to our firsthand experiences with the challenges and limited opportunities faced by individuals with disabilities. 

As the word has spread about our pottery group, there is an increasing interest in our community for accessible ceramic art classes. 

Inclusive clay was formed in 2023 with this mission: to provide access and education to adults with intellectual disabilities so they can participate in their ceramic art community.
